About Jon

Jon is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and served in the United States armed forces for over 10 years. In the Army he was a medic and in the Air Force a science officer. He treasured his time in the military because it gave him the opportunity to serve and travel. In visiting other countries, he grew a deeper appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy in America. He still strives to live by the same military principles of integrity, service before self and excellence in all he does.

He graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with a degree in Chemistry with Physics and later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. He worked in financial services in roles that included a Financial Advisor and Relationship Manager with Fortune 500 firms for over 10 years. Eventually he decided to launch this venture when he learned about the debt predicament that faces most individuals. He wanted to offer a personalized experience for people to eliminate debt and generate wealth.

FAQs

Who is this program for?

Any small business owner or individual, with or without debts, and with a source of income.

What if I feel that I don’t have enough margin for an additional expense?

Darren Hardy in his book Compound Effect, talks about one of his employees who felt she didn’t have enough margin to save anything. He convinced her to start with 10 cents. This habit snowballed into her saving hundreds per month. Eventually she went on to start and build her own company with the savings she accumulated and the new habits she acquired. Start where you are. This means you can do this with just the income you have and without any additional spending.

Why the name Pasture Wealth?

When you think about a pasture you think about a vast green field. Pasture in the logo connotates vast wealth for clients. For some that could be just becoming debt free. For others it may be enough to improve their lifestyle. For others it may be enough to travel and for others it may be enough to contribute more. Our motto is “Live Life Wealthy!” and you determine what that means to you.

How bad is it with other people?

Over a lifetime a typical American earns about two million dollars but sadly saves less than four percent by the time they reach retirement. This isn’t the American Dream. Unfortunately, 24% of income goes to taxes, 14% to interest and 50% to debt. As an advisor I witnessed many in and close to retirement age who had less than $100,000 in savings.

Should my spouse and I do this individually or together?

Between both spouses, one is more the spender and the other more the saver. A question the saver may ask the spender in frustration is, “Why do you like to spend?” Similarly, the spender may ask the saver, in frustration “Why do you like saving so much?” This is an opportunity for both spouses to come together and each other’s needs while still pursuing the major common goal to be debt free.

I don’t have any debt, does this apply to me?

Debt free or not, you will make large future purchases. These could be furniture, appliances, vehicles, vacations, even interests in a business. This system enables you to self-finance your purchases and eliminate the interests paid to financial institutions. This would save you thousands of dollars in interest.

What is the process to Live Life Wealthy?

We believe that building wealth includes three major steps: Mindset, Money, Multiply. First, you must believe that it is okay for you to be wealthy and determine your Why, otherwise you would spoil whatever progress you made. Second, you must manage your money properly. In this phase you want to eliminate or significantly reduce your liabilities – those expenses that do not provide you with a return on your investment. Third, multiply your holdings to execute your Why for creating wealth, faster.

What does it cost?

Because every situation is different, we cannot determine a cost without a customized evaluation, which is free.

What guarantees do you offer?

This is not like the stock market where you speculate on whether you will end up with a profit or a loss. Here your gains are guaranteed once you follow through with your customized plan.

Is there any risks of loss?

It is guaranteed, is the most efficient vehicle to reach wealth goals and it has been used by the wealthy, including banks, for many years. Imagine you have an urgent appointment with your family, and you have four vehicles: skateboard, bicycle, Prius, Tesla. Which one would you pick? This program is like the Tesla.

What other products do you offer?

We also offer the preparation of Revocable Living Trusts, Living Wills and Durable Power of Attorneys.
